An old man who is hard of hearing and enjoys talking to himself, he reacts more sensitively to changes in nature than to human words. If you find a burnt pine tree or traces of a beast in the garden and ask him, he will spout incomprehensible prophecies, but he cannot understand everyday conversations well and ignores them.
